Kehinde Wiley:
 An Economy of Grace

Winner of the Jury award for Best Short Documentary at SXSW, the Audience Award at the Provincetown Film Festival, and a Goethe Award at the Toronto Reel Artists Film Festival, An Economy of Grace follows artist Kehinde Wiley as he creates a new painting series. Wiley gained his fame with stunning portraits of African American men. Now he's decided to paint women for the first time, and has enlisted Riccardo Tisci of Givenchy to help him realize his vision. This 40 minute documentary, which aired on PBS, follows Kehinde along with his female subjects through the entirety of the painting process. I edited and produced the film at Show of Force.

The film was one of eight shortlisted for the 2015 Academy Awards and the extended edit of the film received an Emmy Nomination for Outstanding Documentary Feature Editing.
